Big Room Inc. thinks standards like B Corp are vital in helping people make better choices. They promote voluntary sustainability standards and certification systems at EcolabelIndex.com, through their advisory work, and through their proposal for the .ECO top-level domain.
We are proud to be at the vanguard of companies dedicated to solving social and environmental problems. As a B Corporation, Big Room is now legally required to meet higher standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
As a prospective operator of the .ECO top level domain - as in www.example.eco - it's crucial that they exemplify best-practice in all areas. They look forward to working with the B Corp community to stay at the forefront of the green economy.

The Change We Seek®
Big Room's goal is to make it easier for people to make better and greener choices. They do that in two ways. First, they maintain EcolabelIndex.com the only global source for information on ecolabels and green product standards, and advise companies, purchasers and governmental agencies on green purchasing using standards. Second, they are building a global movement around the standards for a .ECO - as in www.example.eco - domain name ending. They are applying to be the creators of .ECO because they care deeply about creating and maintaining an online space for the sustainability community to share their important work, and to ensure integrity through transparency and accessibility of information. See www.doteco.org for more information.
