About Advance Humanity

Advance Humanity empowers everyday humanitarians worldwide by providing an online Community, Fellowships and an Accelerator to take nonprofits and social businesses to the next level. The online community includes resources such as interviews, articles, webinars and much more to help Everyday Humanitarians change themselves and change the world. Fellowships include consulting assignments with nonprofits overseas, social businesses here in the U.S., and a wide range of volunteer opportunities from Peace Corps to grassroots Community projects.

In the Accelerator, Advance Humanity works with outstanding everyday humanitarians, nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs to create amazing projects and build world-changing organizations. Supported individuals have included former Peace Corps Volunteers, social entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, one-woman armies, educational leaders, and grassroots community leaders. And partner organizations have included The New Media Group, World Learning, Awesome Mongolia, TEDx, the Good Father Project, Life Vest Inside, and the National Peace Corps Association.

If you are an everyday humanitarian, nonprofit visionary or social entrepreneur who has exciting ideas about how to make the world a better place, whether you are an individual working on a special project, a group of friends who haven’t yet started an organization, or an early-stage nonprofit or corporation, Advance Humanity is designed for you. Partners and Community members of Advance Humanity have found their way to the global TED stage, become founding B Corporations in their regions of the world, improved the lives of thousands of people, and made their dreams of changing themselves and changing the world a reality. It's challenging to change the world, but Advance Humanity also believes that the people crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.

We became a B Corporation because we believe that nonprofit and for-profit world have been kept apart for far too long. We believe people can make a living and make the world a better place, especially everyday humanitarians who believe in making sustainable change in our world. We are proud of the B Corporation movement worldwide and honored to be part of it.

The Change We Seek®

Advance Humanity envisions a world where everyone can be an everyday humanitarian: nonprofits professionals, artists, writers, consultants, charities, international aid workers, Peace Corps Volunteers, TED speakers, global world changers, environmental organizers, high schoolers, college and graduate students, and everyday people all around the world. Advance Humanity believes each of us can be the change we wish to see in the world. They’re here to help you do just that.
