About Boston Organics

Boston Organics is an independently owned organic produce and grocery delivery service currently serving customers in the greater Boston area. Boston Organics works directly with organic farms and wholesalers to deliver boxes of fresh, certified organic produce directly to homes and offices, year-round.

Boston Organics carries only 100% USDA Certified Organic produce, with a focus on supporting local farmers whenever possible. By offering 100% organic foods, Boston Organics is working towards a more just, healthy food system that benefits consumers, provides financial support and healthy working conditions for farmers, and sustains the health of the environment through the reduction of chemical pesticide use. In addition to produce, Boston Organics carries organic grocery items from local producers and vendors such as artisan cheeses, milk, breads, eggs, Fair Trade coffees and teas, and other local and seasonal specials.

Boston Organics’ mission is to provide access to fresh, organic produce in order to promote and support healthy living in a mindful and sustainable way that respects the environment, supports local farms, local businesses, and fair-trade practices. Boston Organics is committed to socially and environmentally responsible practices through its extensive recycling and composting programs, efficient delivery routing, strong community involvement, and food donation partnerships with community organizations.

Boston Organics became a B Corp to join and support a growing community of businesses that are committed to operating in a way that is not only profitable, but also considers the people and environment it impacts. We also became a B Corp because of our objective, transparent, and rigorous certification that provides Boston Organics with guidance to improve in areas that are important to us.

The Change We Seek

The current food system is complex and broken. Boston Organics is working to fix it. Boston Organics provides transparency and connection for their customers about where their food is coming from, how it is being produced, and what it takes to get it from the field to their kitchen.  Boston Organics believes that if they can raise awareness, while delivering quality, organic food with a high level of service, they can help build a strong, healthy, and more sensible food system.
