DIRTT Environmental Services

Modular Wall Systems

Calgary, Alberta

DIRTT — Doing It Right This Time — creates sustainable interiors with agile architectural solutions. Founded in 2004, DIRTT Environmental Solutions constructs tailored prefab spaces as an alternative to conventional stud and drywall construction. The customization of dimensions, functionality and aesthetics produces productive spaces that are long-term assets. DIRTT uses real-time, interactive 3D software called ICE®, a single software application for a fluid flow of information from design and point-of-sale to the manufacturing floor. ICE eliminates order entry errors and inter-application conflicts, vastly improving the speed, precision and custom abilities of manufacturing and installation.

We became a B Corp because we strive to show the world that there’s a better way to build out interior spaces: more efficiently, more cleanly, more sustainably and more humanely. Our B Corp certification helps ensure we will continually aim higher and further improve our social and environmental approach to doing business.

DIRTT has three manufacturing plants. Located in key markets — Calgary, Savannah and Phoenix — these factories diminish the carbon footprint of raw and finished goods transportation while contributing to local economic growth.

The Change We Seek™

DIRTT's solutions include modular walls, plug & play power and data systems, millwork and low-profile access flooring. This is a bigger deal than it sounds. Buildings overall produce more greenhouse gasses, more material waste and use more energy than any other man-made enterprise. Tailored prefab construction helps fix the problem from inside, where it all begins.

Building out space with DIRTT means being free to choose an existing building and efficient floor plate with the comfort of knowing the interior will reflect your needs. The construction method itself creates less initial material waste, less noise and results in a shorter construction schedule and more efficient layouts. The space flexes as the inhabitants develop and grow, stopping real estate sprawl. DIRTT elements support any new and legacy furniture and technology, and are accessible for infrastructure maintenance without renovation noise and waste. Ultimately, a DIRTT environment can be considered a physical part of the business strategy. Clients are better prepared to succeed. That new success means a growing organization – and hopefully, adding more DIRTT.
