About FairWinds Advisors

FairWinds partners with their clients to help them on their path toward job growth, capital investment and business site location. They identify and evaluate potential locations whether buying, leasing or new construction, and take into account data such as workforce availability, state and local taxes, quality of life issues and other important factors based on each individual client’s needs.

The firm analyzes and negotiates local and state incentives like tax credits and training grants. FairWinds ensures that their clients’ compliance requirements with all incentives are fulfilled by providing reminders, assistance and reviews throughout the term of the incentives.

Companies in high growth mode face many challenges and changes; FairWinds helps them understand how mergers, acquisitions, sales, employee turnover and other factors affect both existing and future incentives. In many ways, FairWinds becomes a valued member of their client’s team.

We became a B Corp as we felt the movement reflected our corporate and personal principles and values while providing a solid foundation from which to build and expand our ideas on how the site selection industry can make a positive local, national and through the ripple effect, even a worldwide difference.

As the first approved Site Selection B Corp, they are committed to influencing the site selection industry by example. FairWinds would like to see an industry where companies are routinely shown site options for redevelopment and revitalization, communities being educated on best practices to assist and attract growing companies and people become more employable and can raise their standard of living through the economic empowerment of education.

The B Corp movement is in line with FairWinds' mission to achieve actual positive social and economic change, while at the same time offering the opportunity to collaborate with, and learn from, like-minded for-profit businesses on a growing global platform.
