Job Description:

Data Analyst/CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist)

CoLab is looking to collaborate with someone experienced in data analysis to work together on large scale social impact projects in service to clients and causes we hold dear. We are looking for someone who thinks deeply about online engagement and the analysis of patterns of action.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis

    • Review inbound traffic/Google Analytics reports and highlight important trends and/or data points.

    • Configure basic goals

    • Understand SEO tools/associated apps (Google Tag Manager, Datastudio, Debugging tools, Excel) and their roles in analytics

    • Use segmentation and date selector to provide insightful analysis into client traffic over time and/or between channels

    • Confidence with CMS systems
  • Conversion rate optimization

    • Set up and run A/B tests with some modest complexity using tools like Visual Website Optimizer

    • Understand user analytics and competitor research to highlight testable hypotheses

    • Recommend approaches to improving conversion on key on-site engagement

    • Articulate tests clearly to client and front end designer

    • Understand basics of statistical significance for tests and be able to communicate them to client

    • Help us tell the story of a user visiting a site or application.

  • Strategy

    • You understand our goals and want to help us achieve them   

    • You consider bottom line sustainability in your recommendations as well as support for other KPIs

Possible Other Roles:

  • PPC: Familiarity in setting up and running effective Adwords campaigns

  • Leader: You are ready to chart a collaborative path forward in your areas of expertise  

Time Commitment:

Project based, 15-20 hours a week to start
