Geneva Global is an innovative social enterprise that works with clients to maximize the performance of their global philanthropic and social impact initiatives. We provide a wide range of services to philanthropists, foundations, and corporations to help them achieve their international philanthropy and social impact goals.


As a Marketing Associate, you will help Geneva Global position itself in the philanthropic market as a thought leader, increase its brand awareness, generate leads, and ultimately help grow the company’s revenue.


This role reports to the Director of Marketing. As part of small marketing team, you will have opportunities to get involved in a variety of marketing and communications projects, will work with other teams across the company, and will be given a high degree of responsibility.


In this role you will:


  • Maintain Geneva Global’s website to ensure it is updated with fresh, relevant content and graphics, and is optimized for search engines.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of Geneva Global’s social media presence.
  • Develop and maintain sales and marketing collateral, including print and electronic sales and marketing materials (brochures, inserts, etc.) and branded merchandise.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of content, including proofreading, creating and formatting graphics, sourcing and light editing of photographs, and distributing emails through the company’s email marketing system.
  • Track and report on key metrics of marketing success, including website and email analytics and media exposure, and analyze that data to suggest ongoing improvement.
  • Work closely with the sales team to support activities that generate and nurture prospective clients.
  • Help maintain Geneva Global’s brand standards across the company
  • Provide event planning support
  • Support a range of other marketing initiatives and activities as needed



  • Experience using social media
  • A meticulous eye for detail
  • Have strong writing and editing skills
  • Basic graphic design skills with experience using InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator
  • Be self-motivated and proactive
  • Enjoy juggling multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment and operate with a sense of urgency
  • Be able to form successful relationships with team members across the company in order to get what you need to accomplish your projects
  • Jump into a range of projects with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Be comfortable using programs in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Mail Chimp or other email marketing system, and Salesforce all pluses.
  • Video editing skills a plus
  • Have 1-3 years of marketing and communication experience
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or business
