About LimeRed Studio

A great experience, whether online or off, is the key to amplifying impact. You can build a website, but will people get it? You can write a great newsletter, but will people read it? You can write some content, but will people understand? As a UX agency, LimeRed is committed to diving deep into these complex issues to to create meaningful experiences that make a difference. LimeRed is a think tank of design and technology experts who use a research-based method to solve design challenges and create stunning, human-centered experiences.

What is a UX agency anyway? Does LimeRed build websites? That's part of the story. While they do web development, they love improving websites, campaigns, and other experiences. Sometimes organizations don't need a total redesign and build, and making one path better or, say, a checkout easier could have a faster, bigger impact than waiting a year for a new site. From designing an engaging online community to helping students apply for college to naming an innovation center, since 2004 they work where beauty and brains live happily ever after.

LimeRed's own business model has evolved over time to meet the fast-paced changes in the design and web development industry. Clients are more savvy than ever before, so their team has become expert facilitators and counselors for improving user experiences online, and therefore helping clients meet bigger, more aggressive goals for social impact work. LimeRed coaches teams to surface ideas and makes decisions with human-centered design workshops, audits sites and make research-based improvements, and tests ideas with rapid prototypes and more.

We've always been committed to working with clients that inspire positive change. Socially-conscious companies, nonprofits, foundations, institutions of higher learning have always been our base. We're dedicated to giving back and making a difference. Becoming a Certified B Corporation validates that mission and helps us work with others with similar missions to empower business as a force for good.

The Change We Seek®

LimeRed takes pride in being an active player in its communities. They teach, volunteer, participate on boards, do lots of public speaking, and find ways to mentor others. The digital space is getting bigger and faster everyday. LimeRed sees first-hand how parts of it are a force real for good, and others are downright nasty. They are building that force for good through amazing user experience.

What LimeRed is trying to do in the design and digital realm is remember why they got into it in the first place — to connect with others on a personal level and create real, positive change.
