About TerraPass

TerraPass’ projects help businesses and individuals reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change by generating renewable energy and destroying greenhouse gases (GHGs). Since 2005 TerraPass’s projects have destroyed over 5 billion pounds of CO2e and helped put enough renewable electricity on the grid to power 75,000 homes for a year.

At TerraPass we believe that corporations can be a driving force in fighting climate change. We also believe that social and environmental stewardship is good for business in the long term. Being a B Corp allows us to lead by example and measure our success by metrics other than short term profits.

For Businesses: TerraPass provides better, smarter sustainable energy solutions for companies. TerraPass helps corporations and other institutions identify, assess, finance and implement projects across a full range of technologies, such as biogas, solar, wind, hydro and geothermal. TerraPass powers business with the best and smartest renewable energy available.

For Individuals: TerraPass helps individuals measure and reduce their carbon footprints with a comprehensive carbon footprint calculator and carbon offsets. All carbon offsets come from projects located in the U.S. and support local communities by creating jobs and reducing air pollution and groundwater contamination. Now that’s a breath of fresh air.

The Change We Seek®

TerraPass believes that everyone can take action to fight climate change. There is a better way to power the world. TerraPass is seeking to help businesses and individuals reduce their carbon footprints through projects that destroy greenhouse gases, generate renewable energy and benefit small communities throughout the U.S.
