About Triciclos

TriCiclos is a company created to make sustainability contagious. As Jay Coen Gilbert said, “TriCiclos is a tool for promoting sustainability and citizenship, masquerading as a recycling company”. TriCiclos offers Puntos Limpios (clean points) for citizens and companies to learn to recycle and become conscious consumers, acting to solve the problems of waste management. Working where there are no existing solutions, TriCiclos recycles some 20 materials, most of which have very low commercial value, promising that every material received is effectively recycled. TriCiclos supports companies, schools, and other organizations that want to learn how to act in a more sustainable way, and sells products with low environmental impact to support sustainable habits.

When we created TriCiclos, we thought that we were inventing a new kind of company. We became the first B certified company in South America, and we were happy to realize that we are not alone but we are actually part of a community. The B Corp certification helps us keep TriCiclos as a place where we can all be better people, parents, and citizens. TriCiclos wants to contribute to strengthen the movement that creates a new sector of the economy, and promote public policies that help change markets towards people, not just profits.
