CORE Foods makes food of uncompromising quality that benefits our whole planet. To ensure their focus remains on their quality food and providing customers with the best nutritional resources, they commit 100% of net proceeds to charity. They pay living wages to all their employees, cap salaries, and offset all carbon use they cannot otherwise reduce. They believe in a world where businesses support their communities and they live that commitment every day. Unifying enduring nutrition principles from scientific research, athletic experience, and traditional wisdom, they make fresh, portable food that maximizes performance and nurtures lifelong health.
We became a B Corp because we wanted to quantitatively account for our CSR efforts in a way that helps us and other businesses become even more responsible and aware of our impact.

The Change We Seek®
CORE Foods is on a mission to revolutionize the on-the-go food industry by proving that quick, convenient products can still be healthy. They work only with passion-driven ingredient suppliers on the cutting edge of quality. They are proud to be the only large-scale producer of a fully fresh-food bar (it will actually spoil)!
Living Wages. Every person deserves the right to healthy food, clean water, a safe home, and the opportunity to follow their bliss. Sometimes minimum wages are not enough for workers to be able to have all these things in the same area they work. CORE Foods knows that their employees are their most important investment and they want to make sure they have a strong foundation on which to succeed.
Carbon Neutral. First they reduce their emissions as much as possible by sourcing their ingredients and materials as locally and sustainably as possible, reusing and up-cycling their packaging, working towards closed loop production, and avoiding excess waste and energy use. Where they cannot eliminate their waste streams entirely, they purchase energy credits.
