DIRTT — Doing It Right This Time — creates sustainable interiors with agile architectural solutions. Founded in 2004, DIRTT Environmental Solutions manufactures pre-engineered modular walls as an alternative to conventional stud and drywall construction. Self-expression and dynamic sustainability combine to produce customized, productive space that is a long-term asset. DIRTT uses real-time, interactive 3D software called ICE®, a single software application for a fluid flow of information from design and point-of-sale to the manufacturing floor. ICE eliminates order entry errors and inter-application conflicts, and vastly improves the speed, precision and custom abilities of manufacturing and installation.

We became a B Corp because we strive to show the world that there’s a better way to build out interior space: more efficiently, more cleanly, more sustainably and more humanely. Our B Corp certification helps ensure we will continually aim higher and further improve our social and environmental approach to doing business.

DIRTT has three manufacturing plants. Located in key markets — Calgary, Savannah and Phoenix — these factories diminish the carbon footprint of raw and finished goods transportation while contributing to local economic growth. In addition to modular walls, DIRTT’s solutions include agile power and data systems, millwork and low-profile access flooring.

DIRTT manufactures prefab, modular workplace interiors. Yes. Wow. This is a bigger deal than it sounds. Buildings overall produce more greenhouse gasses, more material waste and use more energy than any other manmade enterprise. Modular interiors such as walls and plug & play cabling help fix the problem from inside where it all starts.
