About ecojot

ecojot is more than an eco-friendly stationery company; they are committed to giving back one journal at a time. Created in 2007, Ecojot designs and creates green stationery products that are printed and made in Canada. All paper and board used is 100% post-consumer recycled - no trees are cut down to make their products. The paper is acid free and processed chlorine free, and all inks and glues are vegetable based. The mill where the notebooks are made is even powered by biogas harnessed from a nearby landfill.

We became a B Corp because we believe that we are a different type of business. We believe that business can play a role in the positive transformation of society and we are happy to embrace this idea.

The Change We Seek®

The GIVE program started in 2010 and uses a simple premise: With the sale of each Jumbo journal and all eco sketchbooks, ecojot will donate a school workbook or pencil to a child in need - BUY 1, GIVE 1. They are committed to directly advocating children's arts and literacy in developing countries. Many children cannot attend school because they lack basic school supplies. During 2012 ecojot will focus on supporting schools in Haiti. In 2011, ecojot donated 50,000 workbooks to kids in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

They are committed to working with their customers on elevating the GIVE program and providing them with excellent service, while establishing long-term relationships.

To date ecojot has given over 150,000 notebooks to children in need around the world. Their mission is to continue giving MORE!
