EVO Media is an online retailer of eco-rated products. People everywhere are actively looking for ways to do their part to address the climate changes that are impacting our planet. Unfortunately being an environmentally conscious consumer is not as easy as it should be – good information is disaggregated and hard to find. EVO provides a huge selection of green products, services, and information all in one place. So far we’ve handpicked 1,200 vendors representing more than 20,000 green products and services. From hybrid vehicles to home furnishings, our goal is to make it easy for you to make greener choices every day.

Since B Corporation standards are emerging as the standard in socially responsible business practices, with enough B Corporations we can raise the bar for corporate social and environmental responsibility. As an additional benefit, being a B Corporation provides companies with a competitive advantage as investors and consumers become savvier and more discriminating in what kind of businesses they support.

EVO has developed a unique and scalable technology to screen and rate consumer products (on a one to five leaf scale) for their green attributes. More than 2 million items from autos to baby clothing have been screened thus far. EVO.com offers easy access to greener choices everyday.

The Change We Seek®

EVO's mission is to bring transparency to purchasing decisions. We believe that all things being equal, people would prefer a greener product. By calling out a product's green attributes, EVO aims to increase consumer awareness for "what makes something green", build consumer demand for authentic green products, and ultimately encourage product manufacturers to employ greener practices in order to effectively serve the growing green marketplace.

• We aim to do our part to lessen our carbon footprint and overall impact on our planet, both by making green products easily accessible to consumers and by living the same philosophies in our day-to-day work and home lives. Some in-house practices include encouraging employees to walk, bike or use public transportation to get to work, having dishes and glasses available to employees to reduce disposable lunch waste, and recycling all paper, plastic and glass that comes through the office.

• To fulfill our planting of one tree for every registered user on the site, EVO has partnered with Trees For The Future. In honor of our site launch, we have committed to planting 100,000 trees. Since 1988, Trees for the Future has helped thousands of communities in Central America, Africa, and Asia improve their livelihoods and their environment by planting nearly 50 million trees. They calculate that these trees remove approximately one million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere each year.
