Hotfrog.org™ is a cooperative worldzine leveraging internationally acclaimed contributors, as well as a global community of citizen journalists, to help tell the important stories of our times, place-by-place, around the world. Organized from the bottom up, from the smallest villages of the developing world to the cities of industrialized nations, a global movement has emerged as an extraordinary expression of people's desire for a better world and a better life. Until now, no symbol has captured this movement. Hotfrog™ is this symbol, and Hotfrog.org™ is its global, collaborative hub.
We became a B Corporation to directly connect our values with our business practices and to help support the B Corp initiative.
A frog in slowly-heating water ignores its dire situation as it proceeds to slowly cook. Today, millions of people throughout the global community are concerned that we humans—amidst global warming, population growth, and economic turmoil—are like that hot frog on a slow-flame. Hotfrog.org™ confronts these burning issues—from global warming to the global economy, social justice, food, war—in every region of the world through the words and images of professional and citizen writers, journalists, photographers, videographers, and graphic artists.
The Change We Seek®
Our goal is to serve the global sustainability and social justice movement by producing innovative ideas, products and services, and to become the ubiquitous symbol of the movement around the world.
