About One Village Coffee

One Village Coffee is a regional coffee roasting company that supports non-profit organizations around the world. Their goal is to become a coffee roasting company with the reputation of roasting premium, specialty coffee that is fairly traded and affordable to the consumer. They provide premium, specialty coffee by roasting each blend/origin uniquely and frequently in small batches, having inventory in a just-in-time manner in order to provide the freshest coffee to the consumer.

We became a Founding B Corporation because we wanted to network with companies that are like-minded and are working for the benefit of all involved, including stakeholders not just shareholders. We wanted to add to the voice the B Corporation has already established in the marketplace.

At One Village Coffee, their goal is to roast premium coffee that also makes a difference. But they understand a great cup of coffee doesn't just happen by accident. It's something you have to create. Craft roasting is the art of taking the raw coffee bean and applying various degrees of heat for a specified amount of time to attain the best flavor from each origin and blend. Why do they craft roast? It's simple - they want you to join us in enjoying fresh, premium coffee. Not only do they strive to create an exceptional cup of coffee in every roast, but they also believe their coffee is only as good as the communities they support. And so as a growing coffee company, they're committed to helping communities both locally and internationally. And it begins with raising the standard for coffee beyond just taste. It means supporting and partnering with organizations doing unique community development projects around the world.

One Village Coffee believes great things can happen when passionate people come together. Ideas are concocted, plans are hatched, visions become reality. They see it themselves every day working with some of most innovative and respected cafes, markets, schools and retailers in the region. As a B Corporation, they exist to make a tangible difference in the world around us, whether that means helping to clean a local park, supporting farmers or putting a smile on your face every time you sip their coffee.

The Change We Seek®

We seek to see change within the communities that we support through our "Coffee with a Cause" campaign where non-profit organizations will receive 10% of the revenue of designated coffee blends. We wish to help alleviate poverty in these regions through raising awareness and helping to fund national health campaign in Honduras, microfinance initiatives in Indonesia, educational programs in the garbage dumps of Cairo, Egypt, and clean water projects in the Keiyo Valley of Kenya.
