Winner of the SBN's Triple Bottom Line award, Mugshots is a socially conscious café with an extensive fair-trade drink menu and a local food menu consisting of soups, salads, & sandwiches made with free-range & organic ingredients, bought from local farmers whenever possible. Mugshots received "Best of Philly" by Philadelphia Magazine and was voted the City's Best Coffeehouse by AOL City Guide.
What is the change we seek?
Mugshots is committed to making a positive contribution to our community by being mindful of the environment and our neighbors, both local and global, in all our actions. We use only fair-trade, organic coffee, and support sustainable agriculture and local farmers. By doing so, we not only support our local economy, but also reduce fuel use associated with shipping. We aim to set an example in practicing a triple bottom line philosophy for other businesses in our community. We also seek to raise awareness around fair trade, the local food movement, and conservation.
