Make it official and sign B Corp. documents

In addition to passing the B Impact Assessment, B Corporations must sign a Term Sheet & Declaration of Interdependence:

2011 Term Sheet for Constituency States, LLC, LLPs, and Canada
(For C or S Corps in CT, D.C., FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MN, MS, MO, NE, NV, NJ, NM, NY, ND, OH, OR, PA, RI, SD, TN, VT, WI, and WY; LLCs and LLPs in any state; and all Canadian corporations; if your company is a majority owned subsidiary, click here)

2011 Term Sheet for corporations in states without constituency statutes or Benefit Corp
(For C or S Corps in AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO, DE, KS, MI, MT, NH, NC, OK, SC, TX, UT, WA, and WV; if your company is a majority owned subsidiary, click here)

2011 Term Sheet for corporations in states without constituency statutes where Benefit Legislation has passed
(For C or S Corps in CA, VA; if your company is a majority owned subsidiary, click here)

The Term Sheet commits B Corporations to:

• Submit all supportive documentation for their B Impact Assessment

• Submit proof of amended articles or adoption of Benefit Corp status within 90 days (1 year for C Corporations)

• Submit to an on-site review if randomly selected (B Lab randomly reviews on-site 20% of all B Corporations over the 2 year certification period)

• Pay B Lab annual certification fees based on the tiered structure below  (Fees are based on net revenues of the last fiscal year; B Corporations will be invoiced in the 1st quarter of their certification, and do not need to submit payment with their term sheet)

• During the first five years of certification the annual fee is capped at $25,000
