Akin to the Triple Bottom Line philosophy in business, they also use a Triple Bottom Line approach in regards to investing. They see three parties involved in financial planning: the client, the advisor and the companies with which investments are placed. Among those three, they feel the client should benefit first and foremost. In fact, as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, they are obligated by law to place the needs of their clients above their own. It should come as no surprise that most Wall Street firms do not share that approach. They pay great attention to their clients' individual needs and give advice appropriate to their own unique circumstances. They believe their job only begins when upon the first visit and continues long after in the form of reviews, updates and being available to their clients.

The Change We Seek®

We seek to change the way Wall Street manipulates and takes advantage of the retiree for indulgent and often greedy singular focus on profits. We feel that investors should come first, not the investment companies or advisors. We feel our employees should share in our growth and we feel we can make an impact on the environment by working out of our home, recycling, being paperless and encouraging clients to receive statements and notifications via email.

Our office keeps no paper. Everything is scanned. Inks for printing are sourced for environmental friendliness. Our paper and note cards are on recycled stock. We work from home and ride our bikes around town! We drive very fuel efficient cars when we must drive. We make every effort we can to reduce our footprint.

But most of all, we seek to empower retirees and balance the playing field so that our clients can become better involved citizens.
