About Modo Design Group

Modo Design Group creates dynamic web sites and web applications for mission-driven organizations and innovative entrepreneurs. They believe in the power of design to transform people and convey ideas. The principles of design-thinking guide their work, as they anticipate and understand the needs of the web user–all with an eye for designing the best possible web product. And, they enjoy doing great work with great people. Their clients work to advance life-changing improvements in green building, international development, and other fields across the country and across the world.

We became a B Corp because we've watched the ranks and impact of B Corp companies grow and wanted to be part of it. The fact is that businesses can make a tremendously positive impact on communities and the broader world through using their resources and influence.

Modo's studio is housed in a beautifully renovated tobacco warehouse located in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where they enjoy small city living. Their window-filled studio houses responsibly made office furnishings that are made from recycled materials, are certified for low interior emissions, and are durably made for longevity. They use real, honest-to-goodness dishes, silverware and hand towels, and of course recycle–all in an effort to leave a minimal environmental impact.
