Monarch Ventures engages in and promotes business development through philanthropic events and activities for the mutual and collective good of the client business and the communities in which they have operations. We do this through event-based Cause Marketing (any marketing activity in support of a social or charitable cause that is not dependent upon donations) in an always creative, cost effective and highly impactful manner.
Becoming a B Corporation is a logical compliment and progression to our founding philosophy of socially responsible business practices, and by doing so we declare our belief that conducting business in a socially responsible manner is not only beneficial, but essential to individual and collective success. We believe this so strongly that we are staking our professional reputation to it and voluntarily aligning ourselves with B Lab as an independent third party for accountability, measurement and review.
For example, consider a photographer that specializes in weddings but wants to redirect her focus to upscale pet photography. Everybody cares about something and this photographer’s ‘heart of compassion’ is for veterans. Monarch Ventures creates one or more community-centric events to promote recognition of the client’s photography business while drawing new business toward her redirected focus of pet photography and simultaneously benefiting the charitable organization of her choice. This is termed event-based Cause Marketing and no one is doing it like Monarch Ventures.
The Change We Seek®
Monarch Ventures LLC intent and purpose is to promote marketplace health for the collective good of the global community by advancing a shift in the marketplace mindset from an Island Mentality (“It’s all about me, me, me”) over to a Stadium Mentality (“We’re in this together and together we’ll succeed”).
• Competition in the marketplace is good--until it succeeds at the expense of those it’s intended to serve. When the pendulum of ‘healthy competition’ swings to the negative, marketplace perception and community health are adversely affected and society as a whole suffers. Monarch Ventures LLC seeks to change this by facilitating and implementing an interactive approach to business development that transcends generational lines, socio-economic indicators, emotional barriers and all “target audiences” and “canned corporate philanthropy” initiatives for the mutual and collective benefit of the marketplace and the global community.
• We promote and advance social responsibility by facilitating collaborative alliances between the for-profit and non-profit business sectors for mutual benefit and collective good. We engage in philanthropic business development through event-based cause marketing specifically geared toward aiding the most vulnerable populations in our respective communities with dignity, cultural-sensitivity and respect, and we do this in a cost-effective and always creative manner. We make a unwaivering commitment to abide by the five non-negotiable CORE values of honesty, integrity, responsibility, unity and the acceptance of all people as having equal value.
