Monogramme Events & Catering is a boutique catering company that specializes in seasonal and sustainable cuisine. Offering a tailor-made philosophy with an emphasis on artisanal foodstuffs, we design our events based upon ingredients that are at the peak of their season. Nearly every menu item is made in-house using local, organic and sustainable products.
We want to demonstrate to our clients and suppliers that we are a company committed to making positive change in our community and believe that a third party certification backs up our claims.
We uphold a culture of excellence and integrity by using the best products available, artisanal technique and exquisite presentation. Monogramme has no set menus. Instead, our events are completely custom and one-of-a-kind, just like a monogram. Based in Chicago, Monogramme hosts a variety of event styles and sizes from intimate gathering to large-scale celebrations.
The Change We Seek®
We seek to improve the American food system by educating our clients about sustainable eating, by partnering with non-profits and other organizations working towards similar goals, and by supporting local farmers and producers who share our commitment to the environment and to social justice.
• Monogramme is dedicated to finding socially and ecologically responsible ways to operate and grow our business. To this end, we have implemented a multitude of sustainable practices that reduce waste, conserve energy and support other local businesses including: recycling our oil for biodiesel production; using reusable or compostable/biodegradable/recyclabe dish and glassware; offering a discount to non-profits; offsetting the emissions from our office; and much more.
• We purchase organic, locally-produced dairy products, humanely-raised animal products, sustainably-caught and raised seafood, and sustainable coffee and tea.
• When a client makes a referral that results in new business, we make a donation to the charity of the client's choice.
