About Varsity Technologies

Varsity Technologies is an IT outsourcing company for education and non-profit organizations. Varsity’s mission is to work with organizations that are focused on creating a positive change in our communities, our classrooms, and our world.

Varsity seeks to provide outsourced IT services that allow for high quality of service, improved operational performance, and predictable costs. Through a proven methodology they are able to engage in a proactive manner, and partner with clients to develop strategies that enable them to focus on their strengths and create greater impact.

Varsity was founded on the belief that we could do good by helping our clients achieve their social impact goals. But as the company grew we really needed to align the entire organization to those ideals by demonstrating to our employees and clients that we were committed and bound to the principles and practices of a benefit corporation. As a B Corp, Varsity can find continued success through our employees and mission alignment with our clients.

The Customers section of the Assessment measures the impact a company has on its customers. The section focuses on whether a company sells products or services that promote public benefit, and if those products/services are targeted towards serving underserved populations. Questions in this section will measure whether a company's product or service is designed to solve a social or environmental issue (e.g. improves health, preserves environment or creates economic opportunity to individuals or communities, promotes the arts/sciences, or increases the flow of capital to purpose-driven enterprises).
