About VoIP Supply

In 2004 serial entrepreneur Ben Sayers started to notice a growing demand for VoIP products and realized that there was one distinct problem; there was nowhere to buy them from.

In August of that year, VoIPSupply.com was launched to serve the niche VoIP market and ironically the website featured more networking equipment than VoIP equipment. That unbalanced product catalog may not have been 100% true to their namesake but it did foreshadow the company’s eventual tagline, “Everything you need for VoIP,” and their belief in providing the best and most complete customer experience.

VoIP Supply is more than just a website and more than just VoIP. VoIP Supply is a diverse team of talented people passionate about IP technologies that are dedicated to educating customers first instead of just simply selling them stuff. VoIP Supply can design communication solutions for customers through VoIP, Video Conferencing, Unified Communications, IP Surveillance, installation services, and equipment buyback and recycling.

Becoming a B Corp gives VoIP Supply a clear roadmap to continue doing well so that we can do good. It’s a great feeling to know that in addition to being successful at work by solving problems for customers, completing tasks, and earning a paycheck that we’re also helping the community with every successful order we process.

The Change We Seek™

VoIP Supply wants to be the opposite of most other online technology resellers who focus solely on offering the lowest price and selling what’s most profitable for them, and not what’s best for the customer.  The difference VoIP Supply is trying to make is doing a tremendous amount of education and offering real value and support to customers.  VoIP Supply loves helping customers and its employees love coming to work in a creative, fun, and dynamic culture which ensures that their customers will enjoy their experience as well.

VoIP Supply’s purpose is to provide a place of uncovering, teaching and developing leaders. A place where entrepreneurial leaders gain access; the ability to learn, grow and leverage a core business infrastructure that will allow them to execute on their ideas while driving the company towards the achievement of its greater goal.

Our business, people, products and services all revolve around maintaining and living up to our core values:

  • Get Goosed (teamwork)
  • Go Beyond the Bottom Line (the greater good)
  • Mom's Calling (customer first)
  • Be a Very Hungry Caterpillar (embrace change)
  • No Donkeys! (positive family spirit)

VoIP Supply’s open door policy allows employees to freely share concerns and ideas.  A weekly intra-office newsletter and weekly huddles on “The Lawn” provide casual forums to keep everyone engaged and up to date on where the company is heading.

It is our belief that it is not what we do, but what differences we make that defines who we are. We have made community involvement a part of what we do, so that we can make a profound impact locally through the donation of our time, talents and money to charitable organizations in the Western New York area.

When is the last time you heard a CEO ask an interview question like this; “Who is Kip?” From the smiling faces, to the frequent company events, to the fact that you can make a mistake and celebrate the fact that you tried to do the right thing, VoIP Supply is a melting pot, a diverse set of people and principles that puts the focus on serving our customers (both internal and external). Everyone contributes above and beyond to accomplish our purpose.

What makes us a better company?
