About New Leaf Paper

New Leaf Paper develops office and printing papers with leading environmental specifications and distributes them throughout North America. New Leaf Paper is a pioneer in the paper industry that demonstrates that using environmentally sound paper is an economical as well as responsible choice.

They unconditionally guarantee that their papers measure up to the quality standards of comparable, less environmentally sound papers.

We hope to participate in the creation of a business community that is committed to the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility. We have long waited for an organization to develop a transparent set of standards and processes around which such a business community can develop. We are excited about the potential for B Corporations to help drive the growth and success of this community.

New Leaf Paper

The Change We Seek®

The mission of New Leaf Paper is to be the leading national source for environmentally responsible, economically sound paper. We supply paper with the greatest environmental benefit while meeting the business needs of our customers. Our goal is to inspire ~ through our success ~ a fundamental shift toward environmental responsibility in the paper industry.

• We make paper with the highest percentages possible of recycled and sustainably harvested fibers, processed without the use of chlorine or chlorine derivatives. Bleaching without chlorine or chlorine compounds results in a much less polluting paper making process.

• No matter how well we recycle, there will always be the need for virgin fiber in the paper industry. Non-wood fiber cultivation, when done sustainably, is an excellent source of virgin pulp for papermaking. In 1998, New Leaf Paper manufactured the first FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified recycled paper (50% FSC certified virgin fiber, 30% post-consumer, 50% total recycled), proving that we are leading the charge for sustainable paper harvesting.
