About SPYGEN

Founded in 2011, SPYGEN is a French biotechnology company specializing in the inventory of aquatic and terrestrial biodiversity from traces of DNA taken from the environment (environmental DNA).

Créée en 2011, SPYGEN est une société française de biotechnologie spécialisée dans l'inventaire de la biodiversité aquatique et terrestre à partir de traces d'ADN prélevées dans l'environnement (ADN environnemental).

SPYGEN s'est donnée pour mission d'améliorer le suivi et la conservation de la biodiversité à l'échelle mondiale en développant des méthodes d'inventaires innovantes basées sur l'ADN, en créant un réseau mondial de partenaires utilisant ces méthodes, en rendant publiques toutes les données provenant de ces analyses génétiques et en soutenant chaque année des projets de recherche et de conservation grâce aux revenus générés pour ses activités commerciales. Les valeurs B Corp sont donc inscrites dans nos gènes.
