OneEnergy Renewables provides Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and carbon offsets to businesses and institutions, offering simple, meaningful, and affordable solutions to help meet renewable and greenhouse gas goals. They maintain the highest standards of transparency and quality, insisting that all the RECs and carbon offsets they sell are tracked and verified by independent third parties.
We became a B Corporation to demonstrate that not only do we espouse good business practices, but we also employ them.
They use this expertise in environmental markets to build new clean energy projects. Using proceeds from REC and carbon offset purchases, they work directly with landowners and other partners to develop new solar, wind, and biogas projects from concept to operation.
The Change We Seek®
Purchasing RECs and carbon offsets are acceptable ways for businesses to build lasting environmental value. OneEnergy Renewables believes in transparency and certification, so they insist that all of their products are third-party tracked and verified. Their RECs are certified by Green-e and their Carbon Offsets are registered with the Climate Action Reserve.
Project Development: When you buy RECs and Offsets from them, you also help build new clean energy projects. OneEnergy Renewables’ development team focuses on putting new, utility-scale renewable energy projects on the ground. They bring deep experience in carbon markets, project finance and development, regulatory affairs, and power purchase agreements. Their industry relationships generate a pipeline of attractive project development opportunities, which their REC and carbon offset business helps finance.
Energy Scholars™: And, because they strive to improve the country’s human infrastructure, too, they created the OneEnergy Renewables Energy Scholars™ program. This scholarship program enables students to apply their formal engineering, business, or environmental management learning to practical, real-world issues by offering access to OneEnergy Renewables’ large-scale solar and wind projects in the students’ home states. They’re helping prepare the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurs to solve the country’s most pressing energy issues.
