We became a B Corp because of our commitment to walking our talk as an organization. As industry leaders, we feel is it important for us to adopt best practices in carbon management, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. Seeking certification as a B Corp was the next, right step for us.

The Change We Seek®

Renewable Choice was founded on the vision that consumer choice could drive significant and real growth in the renewable energy markets creating a more sustainable society. This vision began over a decade ago with their pioneering efforts helping individuals drive growth to renewable energy and carbon reduction markets through a voluntary system. Since then they have become the largest provider of green power in the LEED market and, in 2010, the EPA’s #1 supplier of renewable energy credits to its corporate Green Power Partnership program.

Working with thousands of companies to understand and address their corporate footprint, they built resources and expertise in the collection, measurement, analysis, and communication of emissions and energy data. This work expanded into helping companies respond to the growing number of sustainability scorecards and identify improvements to their overall business performance from investments in these sustainability-based programs. Through supporting hundreds of organizations, Renewable Choice is uniquely positioned to offer the tools, education, outreach, and passion required for a business-led supply chain initiative to succeed.
