Revolution Foods is on a mission to ignite a healthy food revolution and believes that all children deserve access to healthy, wholesome food. It has revolutionized the school lunch line by providing healthy, affordable and fresh-prepared meals to over 120,000 K-12 students every day. Two-thirds of these children are in low-income households. Founded in 2006, Revolution Foods serves fresh and healthy school meals - breakfast, lunch, snack, and supper - to kids in preschool through 12th grade in hundreds of school programs nationwide. Their meals are home–style and based on real food ingredients like whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables. They never use high fructose corn syrup, artificial trans fats, preservatives or anything artificial.

Revolution Foods is committed to making an impact by providing healthy meals and offering of nutrition education programs designed to encourage healthier eating decisions. With high food standards and a reach into over 600 schools programs across the country, Revolution Foods is leading the charge against the national childhood obesity crisis.

In addition to the meal program, Revolution Foods also promotes children's nutrition through healthy vending operations in schools and community gathering places.

Since 2006, Revolution Foods has served over 33 million healthy meals.

The Change We Seek®

Their meals are all compliant with the National School Lunch program. This allows them to create greater access to nutritional meals and enables them to serve the 80% of their student base who qualify for free and reduced-price lunches. They are committed to doing nothing short of making lasting improvements in the way their children eat and making healthy eating a universal right. Providing nutritious meals in school is just the first step to combating the trend of unhealthy eating behaviors. By coupling access to healthy foods along with their in-school nutrition education programs, they're fostering a foundation of healthy eating behaviors in children and providing the tools they need to make decisions for a healthier future.
