We started Riley Life Logistics to pursue the power to change the things that we can, rather than worrying and complaining about the things that we cannot.

They measure success not just in profitability, but also by gauging their impact on the community and planet. The Change We Seek®
We are firm believers that creativity and innovation will forge the path to a better tomorrow. We believe that all businesses should place equal importance on financial growth and the well-being of the community. Our philosophy is and always has been to create a better world for future generations; rather than minimizing negative impact, we strive to generate positive impact. Our mission is to add value for all clients, vendors, strategic partners and other stakeholders through our continual quest for excellence and commitment to our shared values.

Objectives for Impact
• Riley Life Logistics is committed to helping create jobs in their community. They aim first to hire individuals who need a second chance in life. There is no better way to contribute to the community than by offering those less fortunate the opportunity to work and grow as a person for the betterment of their future and the community as a whole.
• Their staff engages in a monthly service project; everyone receives full pay for time taken off to volunteer in the community. Additionally, they realize that they should not limit their impact simply to those who work for their company. Thus, they recruit vendors, customers, and friends to participate in these projects in order to create greater impact from their service activities.
• Riley Life Logistics is committed to understanding - and offsetting - the ways that their business affects our environment. They have set high expectations for the years to come by implementing more detailed metrics for measuring energy and water consumption as well as landfill waste. They aim to reduce energy and water consumption by 1/3 before the end of 2012. Finally, the greatest planet-based goal for Riley Life Logistics is to become a zero landfill waste organization by 2013.
