Satori Capital is a growth capital and buyout firm that invests in companies seeking to build significant value through a sustainable approach. Management teams of these sustainably run companies operate with a long-term perspective, demonstrate a commitment to a mission or purpose, and focus on creating value for all of their stakeholders.

We became a B Corporation because companies that embrace all of their stakeholders generate greater returns for their investors over the long run. We anticipate that B Lab will help companies like Satori stand out, and that our specific focus on impact investing will increase the asset class’s credibility and grow investment in sustainable companies that also generate strong returns.

Satori takes a majority stake in the companies in which it invests, giving it the ability to partner with management teams in shaping a long-term strategy. To ensure that Satori partners only with management teams that share its values, Satori evaluates them extensively before partnering. In addition to the traditional financial and operational evaluation of a company, Satori’s due diligence process includes supplemental evaluation tools such as a sustainability checklist and a leadership development profile for the management team.
