“The time has come to lower our voices, to cease imposing our mechanistic patterns on the biological processes of the earth, to resist the impulse to control, to command, to force, to oppress and to begin quite humbly to follow the guidance of the larger community on which all life depends.” ~Wendell Berry.

We want to be a member of that larger community.

Clients engage Watershed Capital to raise debt and equity for expansion, to assist in the purchase or merger of a targeted acquisition, to coordinate the sale of a company, division, or product line, or to assist in other strategic financial matters. Performing the corporate finance function for its clients, Watershed Capital delivers a level of strategic financial expertise typically found only in large corporations.

The Change We Seek™

Watershed Capital seeks to accelerate the move to a sustainable economy. The economic base of today was built in an era of ample raw materials, inexpensive energy, and limited consideration of waste. That age has passed. Current dynamics are increasingly rewarding companies that operate sustainably.

• We routinely invest in Green Building Products and Services. These products and services increase the efficiency with which buildings and their sites use energy, water, and materials.

• We also invest in Cleantech, hoping to help improve operational performance, productivity, or efficiency while reducing costs, inputs, energy consumption, waste, or pollution. Specific applications include energy efficiency, water usage and treatment, air usage, resource maximization, manufacturing and industrial controls and sensors.

• We usually invest in Remanufacturing. This sector shares the common characteristic of utilizing a used product as a major sub-component in building a remanufactured product.

• We also invest in Organics, Natural, and Local Food Products. These products and services are involved in the supply chain of growing, transporting, processing, packaging, and selling organic food, natural, and local products.
