About Peoples Coffee Limited

Peoples Coffee Limited is a 100% Organic, Fair Trade Roastery based in Newtown, Wellington. Founded in 2004 by Matt Lamason, Peoples is about roasting and serving the best coffee, as ethically as possible.

We've always had some sort of certification as a business. We began our journey with the standard Fairtrade certification, eventually we upscaled that fair trade ethos and applied to our entire company when we became WFTO certified. When we started looking into B Corp we saw it as the logical next step - certifying that our company is not only committed to the principles of Fair Trade but, more than that, we are committed to ethical business - in all area's.

What makes us a better company?
