At CompPair, we believe in reducing waste through lifetime extension. We have developed a new type of composite material that can repair itself to significantly extend the lifetime of composite structures and reduce waste. Our solutions act during the whole lifetime of products, benefiting manufacturers, consumers, and the planet. HealTech semi-products are a ground-breaking innovation in the field of self-healing composites, enabling the production of composite structures that can heal damage on-site in 1 minute. Made with HealTech, composites can be repaired 400 times faster, with the capability for multiple repairs and superior production quality. As the demand for composite materials surges across industries such as aerospace, marine, mobility, and sport, their sensitivity to damage poses a significant challenge for the industry. Current repair methods are expensive and time-consuming, and existing composites lack efficient recycling solutions. CompPair addresses these limitations and leads a transformative shift in the industry complying with the EU 2024 Waste Framework directive: HealTech products offer a tougher resin, an innovative repair solution, and an improved recycling process at the end of life, resulting in a lower life cycle impact.
