About Good Day Girl

A made to order women's fashion business based in Sydney, Good Day Girl was co-founded in 2013 by former competitors, Alexia Spalding and Sophie Toohey, offering women a more personal way of shopping while addressing the issue of waste in fashion.

We are creating a made to order world, one stitch at a time. We imagine a world where there is no mass production--where only the pieces we desire are produced, cherished and then passed on, instead of discarded. Where we know who makes our clothes and are confident those people are receiving a fair wage and have safe working conditions. A world where we, as consumers of this clothing, feel confidence: in the fit, in the fabric, how to style it and get the most wears. Feeling good in these clothes inside and out, every day, is why we exist. We are committed to this vision, from our business model to our practices, and that is why Good Day Girl became a Certified B Corporation.
