Benefit Corporation legislation creates a legal framework that allows companies to keep their founding values, not just shareholder value, at the forefront. It was passed in Maryland and Vermont and is now moving forward with broad bipartisan support in nine states.
B Lab is running its first national ad campaign on behalf of the community of Certified B Corps. With the help of marketing, branding and media companies within the B Corp community, the campaign will reach 17 million conscious consumers and invite them to support "a better way of doing business."
