About Aquatic Informatics

Aquatic Informatics provides software solutions that address critical water data management and analysis challenges for the rapidly growing environmental monitoring industry.

Only 2% of water on our planet is consumable. Critical for human survival, safe water is required for drinking, sanitation, agriculture, hydropower, mining, infrastructure, and industry. The growing population is increasing competing demands for water, yet pollution is reducing its availability. Global warming is causing more extreme weather patterns, including more floods and droughts. Timely, accurate hydrological information is required to solve today’s complex water resource challenges. Modern water monitoring instruments and telemetry are creating unprecedented volumes of continuous hydrological data. Environmental monitoring organizations, including the US Geological Survey and Water Survey of Canada, are retiring spreadsheets and legacy systems. They are adopting AQUARIUS to turn big water data into insight for the sustainable management of precious water resources.

Aquatic Informatics has over 500 customers worldwide in 40 countries, including federal, state/provincial, and local government departments, hydropower operators, mining companies, academic groups, and consulting organizations who collect, manage, and process large volumes of water quality or quantity data.

Our B Corporation Certification has distinguished Aquatic Informatics as the first natural water management software vendor to be the “Best for the World.” Our customers, employees, and investors can be confident that they are investing in a company that is successful in achieving higher standards of environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. This designation confirms Aquatic Informatics’ contribution in solving the world’s most challenging environmental problems.

The Change We Seek®
