About Green Alpha Advisors

Green Alpha Advisors is an asset management firm founded in 2007. They use science-driven, fundamentals-based research to invest in companies whose innovative products and services will transition us to the Next Economy. Our world, encompassing both the economy and environment, faces three big systemic risks: an increasingly warmer climate, resource scarcity and booming population growth. In order for human society to thrive, our economy and environment must transition to one in which they can co-exist indefinitely. This is their vision of the Next Economy - what we must transition to.

Green Alpha uses their investment experience to harness the power of investment capital for good. They seek to invest in companies that are creating products or services to help us mitigate and/or adapt to risks associated with climate change, resource scarcity and population growth. Green Alpha portfolios have been fossil fuel free since inception.

We became a Certified B Corporation, because we fully believe in harnassing the power of capital and business to build a better society. One in which we can all thrive. Current business practices, incentive structures and the like are not helping business build the future that we all need - the Next Economy. Green Alpha was founded with this ideal in mind, so it's no surprise that we would want to support the B Corp community and all that it's doing to help build a more sustainable future.

The Change We Seek®

Green Alpha Advisors is striving to help society transition to the Next Economy - one in which the economy and environment co-exist, so that human society can thrive indefinitely. The three biggest systemic risks to both our economy and environment are: an increasingly warmer planet, scarce resources and booming population growth. Green Alpha seeks to invest in companies that are creating products or services to help us mitigate or adapt to these risks. All of Green Alpha's separate account and mutual fund investment strategies are built on this Next Economy investment philosophy. They all follow the same rigorous investment process to create portfolios with different growth and income characteristics.
