About Klean Kanteen

Klean Kanteen is a small family-owned company with a proven record of changing the world for the better. The entire company is dedicated to providing safe, high quality products that encourage a lifestyle of health, sustainability and environmental stewardship. Success in making reusable bottles part of everyday life has inspired Klean Kanteen to innovate a wide range of products good for both people and the planet.

From the deliberate and diligent focus on its global production process to the company structure and shared individual responsibility both inside and outside of the office, business practice at Klean is grounded in the same fundamental mission from which B-Corp was conceptualized. Working to earn a spot within the respected B-Corp community was not simply a badge of honor for Klean Kanteen, but in fact, the assessment process itself became a systematic way for the company to support its already established processes and procedures while also setting a foundational structure for intentional growth in the future.

Being mission-driven places continual demands on Klean Kanteen to be and keep the best company it can. The simple fact that there is much work yet undone to replace wasteful, unhealthy and unsustainable practices with sound replacements cannot help but give everyone at the company pause, and spur a continual process of introspection and innovation. Wherever single-use and questionable safety lurk in the service of day to day healthy living, in future years Klean Kanteen will be there with alternatives.

The Change We Seek™

Klean Kanteen has never taken the weight of being a product manufacturer lightly. The mission of the company begins at the most basic level— an aesthetic based on simplicity, durability, each designed to be the “right tool for the job”.  Klean Kanteen’s reputation for delivering on this promise gives the Brand the rare opportunity to form lasting consumer relationships where they enable and support conscious changes relating to single use waste.

• Klean Kanteen products are not just a feel good choice, they are progressive, functional designs that perform a task better than the paper, plastic and aluminum products they are designed to replace, and they are made to last a lifetime. Not all alternatives to single use plastic are created equal— it is paramount to the Klean Kanteen mission to offer only Responsible Solutions that are designed with health, safety and sustainability front of mind.

• As an industry leader, it is Klean Kanteen’s hope that stricter standards on corporate transparency as well as the growing demand for safe, healthy alternatives to plastic will help drive the industry forward. Growing consumer awareness of the hazards of everyday toxins will lead to the identification of greener chemistry and a broader range of safe, sustainable alternatives for all single-use products.
