About rTraction Canada, Inc.

rTraction Canada, Inc., is a digital agency that uses design thinking to remove barriers (seen or unseen) that block your success. They don't just start with a desired outcome or the problem you think you have, they uncover what's in the way of your operations achieving your purpose (wether the problem is communication, outreach, or tech), and work on that. 

Like any digital agency, rTraction knows their way around technology and believe in returning good value to their clients. There are a few things that make them a little different from your average production house, however:  

  1. They focus on improving community outcomes; improving the community they're serving is more important than maximizing profit. 
  2. They know that with real, lasting change, there is tension. They aren't afraid of it... in fact, they welcome it. 
  3. They are committed to helping smooth out the bumps in the project roadmap to keep it productive, and confirm they're on track in every project meeting.

Giving back, working with purpose and creating a great culture have been a part of our DNA since we opened our doors in 2001. When we found out about the B Corp movement we were inspired to learn how to do even better from B Lab and other like-minded businesses (validating the work we were already doing was a bonus). Customers

The Customers section of the Assessment measures the impact a company has on its customers. The section focuses on whether a company sells products or services that promote public benefit, and if those products/services are targeted towards serving underserved populations. Questions in this section will measure whether a company's product or service is designed to solve a social or environmental issue (e.g. improves health, preserves environment or creates economic opportunity to individuals or communities, promotes the arts/sciences, or increases the flow of capital to purpose-driven enterprises).

The Community section of the survey assesses a company's impact on its community. The Community section evaluates a company's supplier relations, diversity, and involvement in the local community. The section also measures the company's practices and policies around community service and charitable giving. In addition, this section includes if a company's product or service is designed to solve a social issue, including access to basic services, health, education, economic opportunity, arts, and increasing the flow of capital to purpose-driven enterprises.
