About The CAPROCK Group

The CAPROCK Group is a multi-family wealth advisory firm, customizing financial solutions for individuals and families who don't have the time or expertise to create such solutions on their own. They invest in people and technology that deliver transparent and comprehensive performance reporting, and are among the world’s leading firms in the growing discipline of Impact Investing: targeting positive financial return as well as the creation of social and/or environmental value.

Most successful people possess the skills required to manage their day-to-day income and expenses, and to evaluate the merits of individual investment opportunities. Very few, however, have the time to define and digest the information necessary to make informed, long-term strategic financial decisions. The frequent result is a portfolio by default rather than a portfolio by design, a result seen far too often among impact investors, whose passion for creating a better world sometimes leads them to make questionable investment decisions. Hence The CAPROCK Group’s prime objective: to introduce order and structure to financial affairs.

Becoming a Founding B Corporation was an opportunity to take a leadership role in positively impacting the lives of our clients, community, vendors, partners, and employees.

The Change We Seek®

By helping to re-think the way that financial services are conceived and experienced, CAPROCK Group seeks to become a role model for any service-based business. In short, by defining their value beyond purely financial metrics, they want to inspire similar companies to follow their lead.

More specifically, they believe that harnessing the power of the capital markets is the only way to bring the scale of resources necessary to address some of the great challenges we face. Energy, food, transportation, water, medicine, the environment, etc. will stretch the imagination and determination of entrepreneurs, government and society. They believe that the intersection of money and mission, of the invisible hand and the "invisible heart", will provide the answers we need. Impact Investing: redefining the meaning of capitalism. And they plan to help shape this redefinition.
