CSRHub provides access to corporate social responsibility and sustainability ratings and information on nearly 5,000 companies from 135 industries in 65 countries. Managers, researchers and activists use CSRHub to benchmark company performance, learn how stakeholders evaluate company CSR practices and seek ways to change the world.
The B Corp certification process helped us to take a step back and ensure that we are operating in accordance with our founding principles of sustainability and community. Becoming a B Corporation provides CSRHub with a feedback loop that allows us to continually monitor our progress, identify weaknesses and tackle emerging problems, even as we continue to grow our business. We are excited to join a community of businesses that work to change the world, while operating a financially sustainable enterprise.
CSRHub rates 12 indicators of employee, environment, community and governance performance and flags many special issues. We offer subscribers immediate access to millions of detailed data points from our 140-plus data sources. Our data comes from six socially responsible investing firms, well-known indexes, publications, “best of” or “worst of” lists, NGOs, crowd sources and government agencies. By aggregating and normalizing the information from these sources, CSRHub has created a broad, consistent rating system and a searchable database that links each rating point back to its source.
The Change We Seek®
Our goal is to empower our users to make business, economic and personal consumption choices based on the values of community, environment, employees and governance. By creating a public, affordable, and standardized measure of company performance in these areas, we are challenging our users to identify their beliefs and make decisions accordingly. We are challenging the companies we rate to continually review and improve their own CSR performance. We are providing a reference point for smaller, private companies to develop and implement progressive CSR policies. CSRHub hopes that by providing the gateway to open, transparent CSR data, progressive corporate social responsibility will soon become the norm, and a driver of business, societal and planetary sustenance.
