About Dolphin Blue

Dolphin Blue's business goal is to provide ecologically sustainable products for use in commercial and home offices. They are an on-line retailer of paper products, remanufactured toner cartridges, calendars, planners, printed stationery, envelopes, shippers and much more. Their goal is to help you "Make Green Waves at Work."

We became a B Corp because it is the mission of Dolphin Blue to make sure that the next generation is better off than ours. Being a B Corp allows us to codify, protect, and pass this mission along.

Today, it is virtually impossible to tell the difference between virgin materials and quality post consumer recycled materials. In order to make it onto Dolphin Blue's virtual "shelves," a product must be made of at least 20% post-consumer recycled materials, and made in the USA. In addition, they favor products that come from sources that are certified for sustainability, particular in their papers. 100% post consumer recycled, Forest Stewardship Council certified, processed chlorine free, made carbon neutral or carbon plus with renewable energy - these are all characteristics that determine whether a product makes it into their online catalog.

Dolphin Blue's goal is to assure that every piece of paper, every scrap of plastic, every shard of metal that has been conscientiously recycled by a consumer is utilized in a positive, sustainable manner through the production of post consumer recycled goods.

To assure that they reach their goal, they create markets for these materials wherever possible, allowing sustainable production and resource utilization as well as responsible consumption.
