EduCare is a unique online education company that focuses on providing online one-on-one tutoring for K-12 and college students in the United States. Apart from online tutoring, they also provide access to their academic library which consists of educational games, puzzles, videos, practice tests and worksheets, which are intended to make learning fun and interactive. Their mandatory “learning style assessment” helps them to identify the right tutoring strategy to be implemented to match the student’s individual needs.
We became a B Corp because we wanted to permanently embed our commitment to our social and charitable mission into the DNA of our business.
The goal of EduCare’s approach is to make learning fun, easy, interactive and also to promote education globally by donating school supplies to poor children with the help of the profits that they generate. Every tutoring session completed by a student ultimately fulfills the educational need of a poor child. The students can even choose a specific geographic location where they would like to help.
The Change We Seek™
Along with revolutionizing the way we teach Math to our kids it’s also important for us to promote education in poor countries and communities. At EduCare, we believe good education should be a right - not a privilege – so with every tutoring session completed by a student, we help a child in need by donating school supplies and books through our Global Education Movement.
We think education is the primary solution to poverty, and child labor. It gives us excitement when we hear from a principal of a school in Western India that his students achieved 100% graduation rate for the first time in the school’s history due to computers, internet and science lab equipments that we had donated through our Global Education Movement. The fact that 24 million children in Africa are not enrolled in schools due to poverty keeps the EduCare team up, awake, and running 24/7 so that we can help reduce that number by providing quality tutoring to students in the US to donate more.
