Mission Markets is an online electronic transactions and communications platform designed to unite impact investors with businesses and organizations that positively impact humanity and life on Earth. Mission Markets enables investors access to a regulated electronic transactions platform, associated information, communications services, impact metrics, other data, analytics and investment management tools that facilitate private capital transactions.
The founders of Mission Markets have combined their capital markets and private company finance expertise with their passion for social welfare and environmental conservation to create Mission Markets. At Mission Markets they believe that by providing impact reporting alongside financial reporting, investment dollars will flow to the projects and organizations that extract the greatest impact per dollar invested.
We at Mission Markets chose to become a B Corporation because we believe that all businesses should balance profit with purpose, contributing to the betterment of society and life on the planet. The B Corporation approach aligns a company’s mission, actions, and corporate structure with this vision. We are proud to be a part of a growing group of companies with whom we share the same vision and objectives.
Mission Markets facilitates the impact investing sphere's transition from a disorganized and dispersed collection of organizations into a unified and thriving marketplace. Mission Markets makes impact investing easier, more effective, and more personal.
The Change We Seek®
Our mission is to create a marketplace that enhances the flow of sustainable investments into businesses and organizations that generate measurable social and environmental impacts, thereby improving humanity and life on Earth.
• Mission markets enhances the flow of sustainable investments by facilitating the establishment of markets, capital raising, secondary liquidity, standardized reporting, communication and information sharing, and other activities that increase funding for our listed businesses and organizations.
• Businesses and organizations that positively impact humanity and life on earth focus on products, services, clients, suppliers, and partners that solve real problems, provide double and triple bottom line value, provide real value, and increase social wealth, whether local or global, through their practices. These organizations identify objectives that transcend profits, and establish and report on concrete metrics to evaluate their impacts. By doing so, they serve as examples for other organizations to learn how to be better global citizens.
• We consider businesses and organizations that improve humanity as those that include activities that help individuals, groups, organizations, and cultures live dignified, enriched, healthy, safe, and happy lives.
• We consider businesses and organizations that improve life on Earth as those that work towards the maintenance of Earth’s ecosystem services, ecological stability, biological diversity, species richness, and natural and aesthetic beauty.
