axabio was born from a simple but powerful idea: microalgae, the invisible foundation of life on Earth, holds extraordinary potential for human health and planetary wellbeing. For billions of years, these microscopic organisms have been capturing CO₂ and producing some of nature's most potent molecules. We believe it's time to unlock that potential, responsibly. Our focus starts with astaxanthin, the world's most powerful natural antioxidant, produced by the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. But our ambition goes further. We see microalgae as an untapped reservoir of health molecules waiting to be harnessed and we're building the technology to do it right. In our facility in Belgium, we cultivate microalgae in patented closed photobioreactors powered by 100% renewable energy. Every growth cycle captures CO₂ from the atmosphere and transforms it into bioactive compounds that support human health. Just nature's chemistry, optimized with precision. We make deliberate, sustainable choices at every step of our process. From AI-optimized cultivation that minimizes resource waste to a closed-loop system that recycles water and nutrients. axabio, Nature's technology
