GPSS Holdings Inc. develops renewable energy projects, combining in-house EPC expertise with long-term operational capabilities. Our diversified portfolio includes solar, wind, geothermal, small hydropower, biogas, and battery energy storage systems, with capabilities covering development through long-term asset management. Grounded in its philosophy “生かし生かされ ” – “Life gives and is given”, which expresses the deep but often unseen ties of our existence, as similar as how city thrives when its surrounding villages thrive. GPSS integrates this basis in its business model, which makes community partnership a fundamental part of development. GPSS engages rural villages through a genuine understanding of local need and co-designing a path forward. From this shared purpose, a true partnership emerges, allowing local communities to participate directly in project development and share in the economic value the project generates. The co-created renewable energy projects contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions while supporting economic participation in local communities and building a more resilient energy system in Japan. Our proven model is scalable to other island regions that face similar challenges in achieving a more self-sustainable energy system.
