Virena is a family-owned wholesale company with more than 32 years of experience in professional cleaning and consumable products. Virena was founded with a clear purpose: to make it easy for cleaning companies, institutions, and businesses to choose responsible and documented sustainable products. Our product range is carefully selected and certified by leading environmental labels such as the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, EU Ecolabel, Blue Angel, and Cradle to Cradle. At the same time, we actively work to inspire manufacturers to develop better, more environmentally friendly, and locally anchored solutions. Therefore, green choices are considered right from the start. Our core products are Danish-produced, Swan-labeled, and delivered in packaging made from recycled plastic. Through our own environmental department, we prepare LCA calculations (Life Cycle Assessments) and CO₂ accounts at the product level, enabling our customers to make data-driven decisions that reduce their environmental footprint. We work closely with both customers and suppliers to create a more transparent, responsible, and innovative industry – with lower CO₂ emissions and better solutions for both people and the environment.
