Ogyre è la prima piattaforma online per il recupero di rifiuti dal mare da parte dei pescatori. Il progetto nasce dalla convinzione che si possa creare un circolo virtuoso ed economicamente sostenibile per ripulire il mare dai rifiuti che ne minacciano l'ecosistema. Ogyre permette ai propri utenti di raccogliere a distanza i rifiuti dal mare. Le attività di recupero dei rifiuti possono essere finanziate direttamente online o attraverso campagne di raccolta per i partner business. Inoltre, gli utenti possono acquistare utili prodotti interamente riciclati e contenenti plastica marina rigenerata, direttamente sul sito. Ogni acquisto contribuisce a raccogliere un determinato quantitativo di rifiuti marini. Utilizzando solo materiali riciclati per i propri prodotti, Ogyre contribuisce allo sviluppo dell’economia circolare, considerando come risorsa ciò che ad oggi viene ancora visto come un rifiuto. In questa ottica, tutti i prodotti sono riciclabili, semplificando lo smaltimento e l’utilizzo futuro delle materie seconde che li compongono.
