Founded in Rome in 1960, Antica Erboristeria S.p.A. is a company specialising in hair colouring and haircare products with plant extract-based formulas dermatologically tested on sensitive skin.

HERBATINT, the company’s flagship brand, was created pursuant to the brilliant intuition of its founder, who focused research on finding the gentlest possible formulation for effective hair colour without ammonia. This visionary idea, at a time when the industry was dominated by large multinationals whose products were performance-oriented and heavily based on ammonia, is still the core of their philosophy today.

Leader in its field, Antica Erboristeria manages the entire supply chain, from R&D and production, to marketing, always ensuring full traceability at each stage of the cycle.

Since its foundation, the company supports sustainable development to limit the environmental impact. Antica Erboristeria considers diversity an asset and undeniable treasure that, alongside technology and quality, leads its processes and activities day by day.

We became a B Corp because we share its core beliefs and we decided to integrate them in our company’s growth and development process.
